BLU'S BLOG: SOUTH FLORIDA LOADED FOR THE FUTURE

  • SOUTH FLORIDA LOADED FOR THE FUTURE

If you have read our BLOGS, followed our videos and continued to check back how many events we attend during the course of a year, you understand that our objective is to promote and give exposure to every athlete who participates.

We have the opportunity and take a player who hasn't been considered a prospect and give them exposure that will include colleges and universities throughout the country having the opportunity to watch you here as well as chart your progress on FACEBOOK and Twitter.

Along with our popular IN THE HUDDLE segments, which we will do until the next signing day, we will also bring you the football players you may not hear about - through other outlets.

Each week, we will give you football players who are not only in the Class of 2013, but also 2014, 2015 and even 2016.

Today, we will start with a few players that many should start to keep an eye on. While they may not be 4-stars on Rivals or Scout, they are on our radar - and now - on yours:

2013 - Arron Batten, TE/DE, Dade Christian: One of the real below the radar players who moves around the field on both sides of the ball. This is a prospect you will need to watch.

2013 - Mike Ferro, FB/LB, Christopher Columbus: Here is a true play-maker who is always around the ball, never shying away from making a hit or laying down a solid block. A powerful, athletic player.

2013 - Lemond Johnson, QB/Athlete, Cooper City: Another one of those versatile, athletic football players who runs extremely well. Will be one of the centerpieces on a talent Art Taylor-coached team. Has tremendous grades as well.

2013 - Austin Krtausch, DE, 6-3, 215, Sunset: A very athletic football player who has talent, a great first step and plenty of football skill. He has the kind of body to put on another 40-50 pounds, easily!

2013 - Logan Oce, DB, Monsignor Pace: When all is said and done, this could be one of the region's top defensive backs. His speed and athletic ability are BCS caliber.

    2013 - Camilo Padron, RB/LB, Belen Jesuit: A two-year starter who racked up 64 tackles, 4 sacks and caused/recovered 4 fumbles.

2013 - Edward Rolle III, DE/WR, Carol City: After an impressive 13 sack season, which also included 28 tackles, 4 fumble recoveries (2 for touchdowns) this is another one of those big time prospects - just waiting to be discovered.

2013 - Benton Voke, QB, Pines Charter: Heading into his second year as a starter, this past season introduced him to a some new offenses, which he handled well, leading his team to the school's first ever playoff appearance.

Have a prospect we need to check out? Send Larry Blustein some information (Floridakids1@aol.com.) so we can spotlight yet another uncovered gem.
